Kasem Cares National Conference on Aging – April 21-23, 2016 – click here
OLD LIVES MATTER
When is it okay to drug someone, steal their money, or cause physical and mental abuse?
When they are over 60 years old, when they are in a facility that doesn’t care, when they have dementia, when the oversight agencies do nothing, when the police do nothing, when courts do nothing!
We have a terrible problem with elder abuse in this area. It took the state 14 months to investigate my complaints of drugging and the abuse of my Mom. When these agencies are contacted, they often turn a blind eye because elderly lives don’t matter.
There is no government agency that will help these poor souls. Our mission is to increase awareness of the abuse of power that exists in this state and in our assisted livings facilities.
We want to help you and your loved one scrutinize what happens in these facilities. We will be demonstrating to expose the exploitation of our seniors on September 10th from 4-6PM. The kickoff for this event will be held at Candlelight Church next to Skate Plaza at the corner of Hwy 95 and Dalton Ave. in Coeur d’Alene, ID at 2:45 PM. There will be food, drinks, and a quick meeting prior to the event. We will have team leaders who will help you with directions to your demonstration locations.
Please bring wigs, canes, walkers – anything that makes you look old
YOU can make a difference by showing support to help our abused seniors who have no voice.
We need your help! Please give us your contact information at:
